Part I — Global Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions

MEDHAVANTUM GROUP LLPLLPIN: ADA-5890Last Updated: 8 September 2026

Applies to: Tutors Parliament's India and international services, including home tuition where offered, online tutoring, assessments, mentoring, learning tools and related platform services.

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of Tutors Parliament, a brand owned and operated by MEDHAVANTUM GROUP LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, bearing LLPIN ADA-5890 ("MEDHAVANTUM GROUP LLP", "Tutors Parliament", "TP", "Company", "we", "us" or "our").

These Terms apply to www.tutorsparliament.com, its subdomains, portals, dashboards, assessment systems, tutoring interfaces, communication tools, mobile or web applications that may be introduced, and other digital or physical services operated under the Tutors Parliament brand (collectively, the "Platform").

By accessing, registering with, purchasing from, booking through, or otherwise using the Platform, you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

This is Part I of the Tutors Parliament Global Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. See also our Privacy Policy.

1. Scope and Acceptance

These Terms apply to website visitors, Students, Parents, Guardians, Tutors, Mentors, education professionals, institutes and other persons who access or use the Platform.

Certain services may be governed by additional policies or service-specific terms, including Parent & Student Terms, Tutor Service Agreements, Refund Policies, Cancellation and Rescheduling Policies, Cookie Policies, assessment rules, safeguarding requirements, payment terms, programme terms or notices presented during registration, booking, checkout or use of a particular service.

Those additional terms form part of the contractual framework for the relevant service. Where a service-specific term directly conflicts with these general Terms, the service-specific term applies to that service to the extent of the conflict, subject to applicable law.

2. Global Applicability

Tutors Parliament is operated from India and may offer services to Users in India and other countries.

These Terms are intended to apply globally to the extent permitted by applicable law. If mandatory consumer, education, privacy, child-protection or other laws in a User's country or region provide protections that cannot lawfully be waived or restricted by contract, those protections continue to apply notwithstanding any inconsistent provision of these Terms.

The availability, form and legal structure of a service may vary by country. Tutors Parliament may provide additional jurisdiction-specific notices or terms where required by local law.

3. Definitions

For these Terms:

  • Student means an individual receiving or seeking tutoring, educational, assessment, mentoring or related services through the Platform.
  • Parent or Guardian means a parent, lawful guardian or other adult legally authorised to act for a Student who is a minor.
  • Tutor means a teacher, tutor, instructor, trainer or subject expert listed, matched, empanelled, contracted or otherwise engaged through Tutors Parliament.
  • Mentor means a person providing mentorship, academic guidance, career guidance or related support.
  • Education Provider includes Tutors, Mentors, institutes and other independent, contracted or partner educational-service providers.
  • User means any person accessing or using the Platform.
  • Content includes text, questions, assessments, solutions, explanations, images, videos, audio, recordings, software, study materials, reviews, profiles, documents, messages and other material made available through the Platform.
  • Booking means a confirmed request or arrangement for a demo, class, tutoring engagement, assessment, programme, mentoring session or other service.

4. About Tutors Parliament and Nature of Services

Tutors Parliament operates an education technology, tutoring and learning-services platform.

Depending on the relevant service, Tutors Parliament may:

  • facilitate discovery, matching and interaction between Students, Parents/Guardians and independent Tutors, Mentors or other Education Providers;
  • provide registration, verification, scheduling, communication, payment, learning-management, assessment, reporting, support and administrative technology;
  • provide, arrange or coordinate home tuition, online tuition, educational assessments, learning resources, mentoring, examination preparation, counselling or other educational services;
  • deliver services through employees, independent contractors, empanelled professionals, institutional partners or other authorised providers; or
  • provide a combination of the above.

Accordingly, Tutors Parliament is not restricted solely to operating as a directory, marketplace or aggregator.

Where material, the nature of the relevant service provider or arrangement may be identified in the applicable listing, booking confirmation, programme description, invoice, service agreement or other transaction documentation.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Tutors Parliament is not a school, university, examination board, accreditation authority or government body. References to educational boards, curricula, examinations, universities or institutions are generally descriptive and do not imply affiliation, approval, sponsorship or endorsement.

5. International Service Availability

Tutors Parliament may offer online tutoring and digital educational services to international families in supported countries and may expand to additional countries over time.

At present, home tuition or in-person Tutor visits are offered only where Tutors Parliament expressly states that such services are available. Outside India, tutoring is generally offered online unless Tutors Parliament specifically announces an in-person service in the relevant jurisdiction.

Tutor availability, supported curricula, subjects, assessment availability, payment methods, pricing, currencies, schedules and other features may differ between countries.

Services may be restricted or unavailable where local law, sanctions, payment restrictions, licensing requirements, technical limitations or third-party service limitations prevent lawful or reliable delivery.

6. Eligibility, Legal Capacity and Minors

An individual must ordinarily be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to independently create a Parent, Tutor, Mentor or other adult account, purchase a paid service or enter into a commercial arrangement with Tutors Parliament.

A Student below 18 years of age may use eligible Student services or a Student account only with the involvement, authorisation or consent of a Parent or lawful Guardian as required by applicable law and the relevant service.

A Parent or Guardian registering, purchasing or providing information on behalf of a child represents that they are legally authorised to do so and accepts responsibility for the child's use of the Platform to the extent permitted by applicable law.

The age at which a person may independently consent to particular online or data-processing activities can vary between jurisdictions. Tutors Parliament may therefore apply country-specific age, consent and Parent/Guardian verification requirements.

Tutors Parliament may request reasonable information to verify age, Parent/Guardian status or authority where required for safety, privacy, payments or compliance.

7. Accounts and Account Security

Certain Platform functions may require an account.

Users must provide accurate, current and complete information and promptly update important information when it changes.

Users must not:

  • impersonate another person;
  • create an account using another person's identity without authority;
  • provide forged, fraudulent or materially misleading identity, academic, professional or payment information;
  • share credentials in a manner that compromises account security;
  • permit unauthorised persons to use their account; or
  • attempt to access another User's account without permission.

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of passwords, OTPs and other authentication credentials, except to the extent a security incident is attributable to Tutors Parliament or another party under applicable law.

Users should promptly notify Tutors Parliament if they suspect unauthorised access or account compromise.

Tutors Parliament may require identity, email, telephone, OTP or other verification before enabling particular functions.

8. Parents and Guardians

Parents and Guardians should provide sufficiently accurate information about the Student's educational requirements, including class or grade, curriculum or board, subject, preferred learning mode, location where relevant, scheduling needs and learning goals.

Parents and Guardians are responsible for supervising a minor's use of the Platform to an extent appropriate to the child's age and the nature of the service.

Parents and Guardians should promptly report serious concerns involving Tutor conduct, child safety, inappropriate communications, suspected fraud or material misrepresentation.

Where a minor participates in home tuition, online tuition, mentoring or proctored assessment, the Parent or Guardian must comply with any service-specific safeguarding, consent or supervision requirements communicated by Tutors Parliament.

9. Tutors, Mentors and Other Education Providers

Unless expressly stated otherwise for a particular engagement, Tutors matched or empanelled through Tutors Parliament provide teaching services as independent professionals or independent service providers.

Registration or listing on Tutors Parliament does not, by itself, create an employer-employee, partnership, agency, franchise or joint-venture relationship between an independent Education Provider and MEDHAVANTUM GROUP LLP.

Tutors Parliament may separately engage certain Tutors, Mentors, counsellors, content creators or other professionals as employees, contractors, consultants or institutional partners. The applicable relationship is governed by the relevant written arrangement.

Independent Education Providers remain responsible for their professional conduct, teaching methodology, tax obligations, permits or registrations that apply to them, and compliance with service-specific rules, except to the extent Tutors Parliament is legally or contractually responsible for a particular obligation.

10. Tutor Verification and Screening

Tutors Parliament operates a multi-stage Tutor verification and screening process.

The checks applicable to a Tutor depend on the verification standard then in force for the relevant Tutor category, service, country and availability of lawful verification sources.

Checks may include, where applicable and actually implemented:

  • identity verification;
  • profile photograph review;
  • educational-document review;
  • qualification or credential review;
  • contact verification;
  • address information;
  • teaching or professional experience;
  • banking or payout verification;
  • references or employment history;
  • interviews or teaching demonstrations;
  • safeguarding declarations or undertakings;
  • background-related screening;
  • police verification or criminal-antecedent checks where legally permitted, available and implemented; and
  • periodic re-verification.

The current Tutor Verification or Trust & Safety information on the Platform should be consulted to understand what a particular verification label represents at that time.

A "Verified Tutor", "Verified Profile", "Background Checked" or similar label represents only the checks actually completed for that Tutor. Tutors Parliament does not represent that a particular check has been completed unless it has actually been completed.

Verification is a risk-reduction and quality-control measure. It cannot guarantee a person's future conduct, teaching quality, suitability for every Student, accuracy of every representation or absence of misconduct.

Tutors Parliament may suspend, withdraw or re-evaluate verification status where new information becomes available or re-verification is required.

11. Tutor Matching and Recommendations

Tutor recommendations may take into account class or grade, curriculum or board, subject, location, learning mode, language, availability, teaching experience, pricing, verification status, stated preferences, historical Platform activity, feedback and other relevant factors.

Software or AI-assisted systems may help organise, rank or recommend possible matches.

A recommendation does not guarantee that a Tutor will satisfy every preference or requirement. Parents and Students should evaluate a recommended Tutor before entering a long-term engagement.

Final continuation with a Tutor remains subject to the Parent/Student's decision, the Tutor's availability and the applicable service terms.

12. Demo, Introductory and Trial Sessions

Tutors Parliament may offer demo, introductory or trial sessions where expressly advertised or confirmed.

A complimentary demo is not guaranteed for every Tutor, subject, programme, geography or service.

Demo sessions are intended to allow the parties to evaluate suitability. Users must not misuse demo arrangements to repeatedly obtain educational services without a genuine intention to consider an ongoing engagement.

13. Child Safeguarding

Tutors Parliament maintains a zero-tolerance approach towards child sexual abuse, exploitation, grooming, sexual harassment, violence and other serious misconduct affecting children.

Any Tutor, Mentor, employee, contractor or other Education Provider interacting with a minor must maintain appropriate professional boundaries.

Prohibited conduct includes:

  • sexual, romantic or exploitative conduct involving a child;
  • grooming or inappropriate private communication;
  • requesting inappropriate photographs, videos or recordings;
  • exposing a child to sexual, obscene or seriously age-inappropriate material;
  • threatening, humiliating or physically abusive behaviour;
  • financial exploitation of a child;
  • encouraging a child to conceal inappropriate interactions from a Parent or Guardian;
  • unauthorised recording, photography or distribution of a child's image or communications;
  • misuse of a child's personal information; and
  • other conduct that places the safety, dignity or welfare of a child at risk.

Communication with minors should take place through Parent/Guardian-approved or Platform-approved channels wherever reasonably practicable. Tutors and Mentors must not use a tutoring relationship to establish secret, inappropriate or unauthorised contact with a minor.

A credible safeguarding complaint may result in immediate precautionary restriction, suspension or removal of access while the matter is investigated. Precautionary suspension does not by itself constitute a finding of guilt.

Tutors Parliament may preserve relevant records, cooperate with competent authorities and make reports where required or permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms prevents a Student, Parent or Guardian from directly contacting police, child-protection authorities or emergency services.

14. Home Tuition and In-Person Safety

For home tuition involving a minor, a Parent, Guardian or responsible adult family member should remain present within the premises during the session in accordance with Tutors Parliament's applicable safeguarding requirements.

The Parent/Guardian is responsible for providing a reasonably safe and appropriate environment for the session. The Tutor must conduct the session professionally and only at an agreed location.

Tutors Parliament may facilitate matching, scheduling, payment, support and quality processes but cannot continuously physically supervise activities occurring inside a private residence or other offline location.

Nothing in this clause excludes any responsibility that MEDHAVANTUM GROUP LLP cannot lawfully exclude.

15. Online Tuition and Digital Communications

Online tuition may require a compatible device, browser, internet connection, camera, microphone or other equipment.

Users are responsible for maintaining suitable connectivity and equipment unless otherwise expressly agreed.

Parents should maintain appropriate awareness of online sessions involving minor Students. Tutors must not use online tuition as a means to initiate inappropriate or unauthorised private communication with a minor.

Tutors Parliament does not treat every online class as automatically recorded.

If Tutors Parliament records a particular class, meeting or interaction, appropriate notice, consent or authorisation will be provided or obtained where required by applicable law.

Users must not independently record, photograph, publish or distribute another person's audio, video, image or communications in violation of applicable law, these Terms or that person's rights.

16. Assessments, Quizzes and Learning Analytics

Tutors Parliament may provide diagnostic assessments, chapter-wise tests, subject-wise tests, quizzes, mock tests, practice examinations and related educational evaluation services.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, these assessments are educational and practice tools. They are not official school, university, government, examination-board or professional-certification results.

Assessment data may include questions presented, responses, saved answers, skipped questions, marks, scores, attempt history, completion status, topic-level performance, time spent and learning-gap information.

Scores, recommendations and learning reports are intended to support learning and should not be treated as guarantees of future academic performance.

Users must not unlawfully copy, publish, scrape, distribute, sell, reverse-engineer or otherwise compromise confidential assessment questions, answer keys, solutions or proprietary question banks.

17. Assessment Integrity and Proctoring

Some assessments may operate with additional integrity or proctoring controls.

Where applicable, Users will be informed before the relevant attempt that particular controls are required.

Depending on the assessment, controls may include:

  • fullscreen status;
  • browser visibility;
  • focus-loss or tab-switch events;
  • restricted-input or clipboard events;
  • session or device-integrity signals;
  • second-session or second-tab detection;
  • camera or microphone access;
  • screen-sharing;
  • device-health information; or
  • session recording.

These controls are not necessarily enabled for every assessment. Camera, microphone, screen-sharing or recording functionality must not be treated as active merely because a User takes an ordinary assessment.

Where permission, consent or Parent/Guardian authorisation is required, it should be obtained before the applicable functionality is activated.

Users must not deliberately bypass required assessment-integrity controls.

An automated integrity alert or proctoring flag is an indicator for review and does not, by itself, conclusively establish cheating or misconduct.

18. Educational, Mentoring and Career Guidance

Tutors Parliament may provide academic counselling, mentoring, educational planning, subject guidance, assessment interpretation, examination guidance, career guidance or related services.

Such services support decision-making and do not guarantee examination results, admission, rank, scholarship, selection, placement, employment, salary or any other specific educational or professional outcome.

Where Tutors Parliament offers psychological, psychometric, mental-health or other professionally regulated services, those services should be delivered by appropriately qualified persons where required by applicable law.

General educational or career guidance is not medical or mental-health treatment.

19. Fees, Currency and Taxes

Fees may differ based on Tutor, subject, class, curriculum, geography, teaching mode, programme duration, frequency, package or other relevant factors.

The applicable price or fee structure should be communicated before a User commits to a paid service.

Prices may be displayed or charged in Indian Rupees or another supported currency. A bank, card issuer, payment provider or wallet provider may apply currency-conversion fees, foreign-transaction charges or its own exchange rate.

Applicable GST, VAT, sales tax or other taxes may be included in or added to the displayed price where required by applicable law and should be disclosed as appropriate during the transaction.

Tutors Parliament may offer packages, discounts, scholarships, promotional credits, memberships or other offers. Special offers may have additional eligibility, validity and usage terms.

20. Payments

Payments must be made only through payment methods authorised by Tutors Parliament for the relevant transaction.

Payments may be processed through banks, UPI services, licensed payment gateways, payment aggregators, card processors, wallets or other financial-service providers. Those providers may apply their own terms and privacy practices.

Where a payment provider directly processes card, banking or UPI credentials, Tutors Parliament ordinarily receives transaction and payment-status information rather than complete payment credentials.

Users should not transfer money to an individual claiming to represent Tutors Parliament unless the payment channel has been authorised or confirmed by Tutors Parliament.

Tutors Parliament does not intend to operate an unauthorised payment system and may rely on appropriately authorised payment service providers for payment collection and settlement.

21. Loans, EMI and Credit Products

Tutors Parliament does not represent a payment instalment as a loan unless it is in fact a credit arrangement.

If Tutors Parliament ever facilitates or promotes a third-party loan, EMI, buy-now-pay-later or other credit product, material information about the lender, total amount payable, interest or charges, tenure and the nature of the credit obligation must be disclosed as required by applicable law before the User enters the arrangement.

A minor must not independently enter into a credit arrangement through Tutors Parliament.

22. Refunds, Cancellations, Rescheduling and Cooling-Off Rights

Refund, cancellation, rescheduling, replacement and credit eligibility is governed by the Refund Policies, Cancellation and Rescheduling Policies and any service-specific terms presented before purchase.

Users should review the applicable policy before paying for a package or service.

Where local consumer law provides a mandatory cancellation, cooling-off, withdrawal or refund right, that right applies notwithstanding a conflicting contractual term.

Where applicable law permits a cancellation or withdrawal right to be reduced or lost after performance begins with the consumer's express request or acknowledgement, Tutors Parliament may seek the required confirmation during checkout or service activation.

23. Tutor Fees, Commissions and Payouts

Commercial arrangements between Tutors Parliament and Tutors are primarily governed by the Tutor Service Agreements or other written engagement terms.

Tutors may be required to provide accurate tax and banking information.

Payouts may be subject to agreed facilitation fees, refunds, chargebacks, adjustments, taxes, withholding or other statutory deductions where applicable.

Tutors are responsible for their own tax obligations except for amounts MEDHAVANTUM GROUP LLP is legally required to collect, deduct, report or remit.

24. Platform Circumvention and Off-Platform Arrangements

Where Tutors Parliament has introduced or matched a Parent/Student and Tutor for a tutoring engagement, the parties must not deliberately misuse the Platform introduction for the purpose of avoiding payment, facilitation or other commercial terms that validly apply to that engagement.

The Tutor Service Agreements and Parent & Student Terms may contain more specific non-circumvention obligations.

Any restriction applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Tutors Parliament may be unable to verify or provide Platform-based payment protection, refunds, credits or dispute assistance for payments or arrangements voluntarily conducted outside authorised Tutors Parliament processes.

Nothing in this section restricts a consumer from exercising a statutory right or reporting a complaint.

25. Communications

Tutors Parliament may send operational or transactional communications necessary to provide requested services, including OTP and authentication messages, Tutor-match notifications, demo or class updates, assessment notifications, account alerts, payment information, safety notices, support responses and legally required notices.

Where required by law, optional promotional communications will be sent only with the appropriate consent or other lawful basis.

Users may opt out of optional marketing through the method made available by Tutors Parliament. Opting out of marketing will not necessarily stop essential transactional, security, safety or service-related communications.

Tutors Parliament will seek to comply with applicable telecommunications, direct-marketing, anti-spam, DND, DLT and electronic-communications requirements in the relevant jurisdiction.

26. User Content

Users may submit profile information, photographs, documents, qualifications, reviews, questions, homework, messages, feedback or other content.

Users retain ownership of content they lawfully own.

By submitting content to the Platform, the User grants MEDHAVANTUM GROUP LLP a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, transmit and display the content to the extent reasonably necessary to provide the requested service, operate and secure the Platform, display an authorised public Tutor profile, provide support, comply with law or exercise rights under these Terms.

Where content is separately commissioned or created for Tutors Parliament under a written agreement, ownership may instead be governed by that agreement.

Users represent that they have the rights and permissions necessary to submit any content they upload.

27. Reviews and Ratings

Reviews and ratings must reflect genuine experiences.

Users must not submit fabricated, purchased, malicious, threatening, discriminatory or unlawfully defamatory reviews.

Tutors Parliament may investigate, moderate or remove reviews that violate applicable law or Platform policy.

Tutors Parliament is not required to remove a genuine review merely because the person reviewed disagrees with it.

28. Intellectual Property

Except for User-owned content and third-party material, intellectual property in the Tutors Parliament Platform and proprietary materials is owned by or licensed to MEDHAVANTUM GROUP LLP.

This may include Tutors Parliament branding, software, source code, interface designs, question banks, assessment structures, original solutions and explanations, educational content, graphics, databases, matching systems, proprietary algorithms, reports, curriculum mappings and other original Platform material.

Users receive only a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Platform for lawful personal or authorised educational purposes.

No ownership right is transferred to a User merely through Platform access or payment for a service.

29. Third-Party Educational Material and Trademarks

Tutors Parliament may refer to boards, curricula, examinations, universities, publishers or other organisations for descriptive educational purposes.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, such references do not imply sponsorship, affiliation, approval or endorsement.

Third-party trademarks and copyrighted materials remain the property of their respective owners.

Users and Tutors must not upload, reproduce or distribute third-party copyrighted material without the required permission, licence or other lawful basis.

30. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Systems

Tutors Parliament may use software, algorithms or AI-assisted systems for functions such as Tutor search and matching, recommendations, content assistance, assessment support, learning analytics, support routing, fraud prevention, safety signals, integrity alerts and Platform operations.

Automated outputs may contain errors and should not automatically be treated as professional, academic or factual determinations.

A Parent or Student remains responsible for deciding whether to engage a recommended Tutor.

Where human involvement or review is required by applicable law or appropriate to a material safety or integrity decision, Tutors Parliament may provide such review.

Users must not use Platform AI functionality for fraud, impersonation, harassment, unlawful content or other prohibited purposes.

31. Prohibited Conduct

Users must not:

  • engage in fraud or impersonation;
  • submit forged or materially misleading documents;
  • hack, probe or attempt unauthorised access to systems or accounts;
  • distribute malware or malicious code;
  • scrape or systematically extract Platform data without permission;
  • steal, publish or compromise confidential assessment content;
  • manipulate ratings, reviews, attendance, assessment results or Platform records;
  • misuse another User's personal information;
  • harass, threaten, discriminate against or exploit another User;
  • engage in child abuse, grooming or exploitation;
  • distribute unlawful sexual, exploitative or abusive material;
  • infringe intellectual-property rights;
  • interfere with Platform security or availability;
  • bypass required assessment-security controls;
  • misuse Platform communication channels;
  • operate fraudulent payment arrangements; or
  • use the Platform for an unlawful purpose.

32. Marketing and Educational Claims

Tutors Parliament does not guarantee examination results, selection, rank, marks, admission, scholarship, placement or employment.

Tutors Parliament aims not to publish fabricated Tutor counts, Student counts, success statistics, ratings, results or testimonials.

Testimonials, Student results or personally identifying educational success stories should be used only where appropriately substantiated and where required consent has been obtained.

Tutors Parliament should not intentionally use false scarcity, fabricated urgency, fear-based selling or misleading representations of a free or trial offering.

Any statement regarding Tutor verification must correspond to checks actually performed.

33. Third-Party Services

The Platform may use or link to third-party services, including payment providers, communications platforms, video providers, cloud and hosting services, analytics providers, identity-verification services, authentication providers and other technology services.

Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies.

Tutors Parliament is not responsible for an independent third-party service to the extent responsibility belongs to that third party under applicable law.

34. Availability, Scheduling and Service Changes

Tutor availability varies by country, location, subject, curriculum, schedule, language, learning mode and demand.

Estimated matching times, response times or availability indicators are service objectives unless expressly described as guarantees.

Tutors Parliament may modify, discontinue or replace features where reasonably necessary for legal, operational, educational, security or technical reasons, subject to any contractual or consumer rights that apply to an already purchased service.

35. Suspension and Termination

Tutors Parliament may reasonably restrict, suspend or terminate access where necessary because of material breach of these Terms, fraud, forged or misleading information, child-safety concerns, serious harassment or misconduct, security threats, assessment-integrity violations, repeated intellectual-property infringement, unauthorised data extraction, payment fraud, legal or regulatory requirements, or other conduct presenting a material risk to Users or the Platform.

Urgent safety, child-protection, fraud or cybersecurity situations may require immediate precautionary action without advance notice.

Where appropriate and required by law, Tutors Parliament may provide notice, reasons or an opportunity to respond or appeal.

Termination does not remove obligations or liabilities that arose before termination.

36. No Guarantee of Academic or Professional Outcomes

Tutors Parliament does not guarantee marks, grades, examination results, admission, rank, scholarships, certification, placement, employment, salary or other educational or professional outcomes.

Student outcomes may depend on attendance, effort, aptitude, prior knowledge, health, school instruction, examination conditions and other factors outside Tutors Parliament's control.

37. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Platform is provided on an "as available" basis.

Tutors Parliament does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free availability or the accuracy of every item of User-generated, Tutor-provided or third-party information.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty, duty or statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

38. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MEDHAVANTUM GROUP LLP will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising solely from use of the Platform.

For a paid service, where liability may lawfully be limited, the aggregate liability of MEDHAVANTUM GROUP LLP arising from that particular service will not ordinarily exceed the amount paid by the relevant User to MEDHAVANTUM GROUP LLP for the affected service during the six months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

This limitation does not exclude or limit liability where exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law, including applicable liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence where such liability cannot be excluded, or other non-waivable legal responsibility.

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer-protection rights.

39. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by applicable law, an adult User or business User responsible for fraud, an unlawful act, infringement of third-party rights or a material breach of these Terms agrees to indemnify MEDHAVANTUM GROUP LLP against third-party claims, losses and reasonable legal costs directly resulting from that conduct.

Any indemnity involving a consumer will be interpreted subject to applicable consumer law and will not require a consumer to indemnify Tutors Parliament for Tutors Parliament's own unlawful conduct.

40. Force Majeure

Tutors Parliament will not be responsible for delay or failure caused by circumstances reasonably beyond its control, including natural disasters, severe weather, epidemics, war, civil disturbance, government restrictions, examination cancellations, telecommunications failures, cloud or infrastructure outages, utility failures, labour disputes or major third-party service failures.

Where reasonably practicable, Tutors Parliament may provide rescheduling, credits, extensions or alternative arrangements under the applicable policy.

41. Privacy

Personal data is handled in accordance with the Tutors Parliament Privacy Policy.

Additional notices may be provided for particular processing activities, including Tutor verification, online-class recording, cookies, payment processing, international transfers or proctored assessments.

42. Complaints, Support and Safety Reports

Users may contact Tutors Parliament regarding Platform complaints, billing issues, privacy requests, safety concerns, suspected unlawful content or other support matters through the contact methods published on the Platform.

Tutors Parliament will handle complaints within the timeframes required by applicable law and may apply shorter timelines to urgent safety, child-protection, payment or unlawful-content matters.

Serious threats to a child or another person's immediate safety should also be reported directly to the appropriate emergency, police or child-protection authority.

Tutors Parliament's internal support process does not prevent a person from using a statutory complaint, regulatory or judicial remedy available to them.

43. Mandatory Local Consumer Rights

If you are a consumer, you may have mandatory rights under the laws of the country or region where you live or where Tutors Parliament directs services to you.

These may include rights concerning pre-contract information, fair contract terms, digital services, cancellation or cooling-off periods, refunds, remedies for deficient services, recurring payments, automatic renewals, price transparency or access to local consumer authorities.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or restrict a consumer right that applicable law makes non-waivable.

Where a provision of these Terms gives less protection than a mandatory local consumer rule, the mandatory local rule will apply to the extent required.

44. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are generally governed by the laws of India, without depriving a consumer of mandatory protections or forum rights available under applicable local law which cannot lawfully be waived.

Users are encouraged to first contact Tutors Parliament and attempt to resolve a dispute in good faith.

For India-based non-consumer disputes, business disputes and other disputes that are legally capable of arbitration, if the matter remains unresolved after 30 days of good-faith discussions, it may be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, as amended, by a sole arbitrator appointed in accordance with law. Unless otherwise agreed, the seat and venue of such arbitration will be Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, and the proceedings will be conducted in English.

This arbitration provision does not require an overseas consumer to arbitrate or litigate in India where mandatory local law grants that consumer a non-waivable right to use local courts, tribunals, regulators or alternative-dispute mechanisms.

Nothing prevents a party from seeking urgent interim or protective relief from a competent court where legally available.

45. Language and Translations

These Terms may be made available in languages other than English for convenience or local compliance.

Unless mandatory law requires otherwise, the English version will be used to resolve differences in interpretation between translations.

If local law requires a particular language version or gives that version legal priority, the local-language version will control to the extent required by law.

46. Changes to These Terms

Tutors Parliament may update these Terms because of changes in law, services, technology, safety requirements or business operations.

Where legally required or reasonably appropriate, Users will receive notice of material changes through the Platform, email or another suitable method before the changes take effect.

Urgent changes required for law, security or safety may take effect sooner.

The "Last Updated" date identifies the latest published version.

47. Assignment, Severability and Waiver

A User may not transfer their account or contractual rights without authorisation where such transfer would be inconsistent with the applicable service.

MEDHAVANTUM GROUP LLP may transfer rights or obligations in connection with a lawful restructuring, merger, acquisition, financing or transfer of business, subject to applicable law.

If a provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

Failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not constitute a permanent waiver of that provision.

48. Entire Agreement and Contact Us

These Terms, together with incorporated policies, transaction-specific terms and service-specific agreements, constitute the applicable agreement governing use of the relevant Tutors Parliament service.

The Company's registered-office information and other statutory business details are available through the Platform footer, Contact page or other legally required company disclosures.
